MicroLED is moving towards the G4.5 glass-based mass production stage, and Yiben Technology assists leading customers in the construction of high-end display manufacturing projects

In the context of a new round of industrial upgrading driven by AI, display technology is ushering in a new development cycle. As display devices continue to evolve towards larger sizes, higher brightness, lower power consumption, longer lifespan and faster response speeds, MicroLED, as an important technology direction for next-generation displays, is constantly expanding the boundaries of industrial application.

In recent years, MicroLED has made breakthrough progress in segmented directions such as wearable displays, vehicle-mounted displays, translucent displays, ADB pixel car lights, and AR microdisplays, and the industry's mass production process has accelerated significantly. At the same time, some leading companies are also accelerating the upgrading of MicroLED production lines and building mass production capabilities, pushing the industry to gradually move from mid-scale pilot verification to the G4.5 glass-based and higher-generation manufacturing stage.

Yibei Technology’s MicroLED AOI equipment already has detection capabilities for G4.5 glass-based application scenarios, and has recently received related project orders from leading industry customers. It will be used in the construction of large-size glass-based MicroLED mass production lines to provide support for key detection and yield management in the high-end display manufacturing process. As the MicroLED industry gradually moves towards the mass production stage, the positioning of inspection equipment is evolving from single-point defect detection to a systematic yield management system covering key process links such as epitaxy, wafers, mass transfer and modules.
