It recently launched two high-brightness HUD head-up display solutions based on COG (glass-based) Micro LED technology, which has attracted widespread attention in the industry. One of them is a 6.2-inch P0.2 high-brightness RGB Micro LED HUD. It uses BOE’s unique backplane technology + self-developed high-efficiency Micro LED chip technology. The module brightness can reach 30,000 nits. It is also specially designed to achieve seamless splicing under high PPI and is perfectly suitable for various application scenarios. The other is the world’s first ultra-bright single-color glass-based Micro LED with a pitch of only 58 microns. HUD, with a display pixel density of 431PPI and a peak brightness of 300,000 nits, ensures that the projected information is clearly visible even in strong light conditions during the day. It is suitable for heads-up displays in vehicles and special fields.

BOE glass-based high-brightness RGB Micro LED The HUD product, with a single module size of 6.2 inches, is equipped with LTPS backplane technology and high-performance MicroLED chips. It also adopts BOE's unique backplane process, which greatly improves the LED brightness attenuation problem caused by excessive temperature rise, achieving a module brightness of more than 30,000 nits. It innovatively introduces BOE's self-developed special GOA design solution to achieve seamless splicing effects under high PPI, which can perfectly match a variety of application scenarios. At the same time, it is equipped with a special wiring design to reduce coupling problems after different signals overlap, further improving image quality performance.

As a disruptive head-up display product, BOE 300,000 nits ultra-bright monochrome P0.058 glass-based Micro LED The HUD technology solution adopts BOE's unique backplane process, taking advantage of the high mobility advantages and low resistance material characteristics of LTPS to significantly increase the drive current density, supporting Micro LED chips to achieve ultra-high brightness and high pixel density display, and simultaneously developing low-power glass backplane technology, which can reduce power consumption by more than 40% and greatly improve display energy efficiency and lifespan. Based on special optical packaging design + high-brightness optical microstructure technology, the module brightness is increased by 16% compared with traditional solutions, achieving a peak brightness of 300,000 nits, which is a mainstream LCD The peak brightness of the head-up display is 15-30 times, making it the first choice for future smart cockpit display solutions.
Currently, based on its profound technology accumulation and innovation capabilities, BOE continues to make innovative breakthroughs in key technologies such as glass-based mass production processes and AM (active) drives.
