The relevant matters are hereby notified as follows:

1. Competition items

The competition has four categories: interior decoration designers, advertising designers, small household appliance manufacturers, and lighting designers. Each competition is divided into two categories: staff group and student group, both of which are single competitions.

In order to do a good job in all aspects of the competition, a competition organizing committee was established to be fully responsible for the overall arrangement and organizational leadership of the competition. The members of the organizing committee are composed of leaders from the sponsoring unit and relevant units. The organizing committee office is located in the Zhejiang Academy of Arts and Crafts and is responsible for the organization and implementation of the competition.

3. Requirements for contestants and team formation

Contestants should be front-line employees of enterprises and institutions engaged in relevant work, freelancers and full-time students in related majors, and have no bad employment records. Those who have won the "China Skills Award" and "National Technical Expert" will no longer participate as contestants.

In principle, each city’s representative team is limited to 3 contestants for the employee group and 3 contestants for the student group. The same unit is limited to 1 contestant in each category. Each city representative team is led by a team leader, who is responsible for organizing contestants to participate in the competition in accordance with relevant requirements, dispute appeals and arbitration, logistical support and other related matters, and maintaining the discipline and order of the competition. For those who have not reached the prescribed quota of registrations in some cities and towns, the organizing committee will make overall arrangements based on the actual situation.

4. Competition content

The competition consists of two parts: theoretical knowledge and operational skills. Technical documents will be released separately. The proposition standards for each competition are as follows:

Interior Decoration Designer Competition

The staff group and student group are based on the second and third levels of the national professional standard for "Interior Decoration Designer" respectively, combined with the requirements of the World Skills Competition product display technology project.

Advertising Designer Competition

The staff group and student group are based on the second and third levels of the national professional standards for "Advertising Designer" respectively, and appropriately add new knowledge, new technologies, and new skills based on the development characteristics of digital advertising.

Small Household Appliances Manufacturer Competition

The employee group and the student group are based on the National Occupational Standards Level 2 and 3 of the "Small Household Appliances Manufacturer" respectively, focusing on testing the engineering practice innovation capabilities of product structure design and rapid prototyping.

Lamp Designer Competition

The staff group and student group are based on the national occupational standards of "Lamp Designer" Level 2 and Level 3 respectively, and appropriately add new knowledge, new technologies, and new skills based on the actual conditions of the industry.

The competition results are based on a hundred-point system, with theoretical knowledge accounting for 20% and operational skills accounting for 80%.

5. Time arrangement and list submission

The competition will be held in cities in the province before late September 2026. The specific time and location will be notified separately.

Registration for each city’s team will be organized uniformly, and registration will be conducted through the Zhejiang Provincial Vocational Ability Integration Work Platform before August 18. The URL is as follows:

To register in the system, contestants need to upload: "2026 Zhejiang Industrial Design Vocational Skills Competition and the 5th National Industrial Design Vocational Skills Competition Zhejiang Provincial Selection Contestant Registration Form"; student status certification materials or social security payment certificates in the past 6 months; vocational skill level certificates that I already hold and other relevant supporting materials. In principle, the list of registered persons will not be modified.

The competition organizing committee will carefully review the player's information. If the player's identity does not match the actual situation, the player's qualification will be disqualified. At the same time, based on the registration status, it will be decided whether to formally organize the selection competition for each category.

6. Competition incentives

Award setting

The contestants will be sorted from high to low according to their total scores. Those with the same total scores will be given priority with higher operating skills. Each competition will award 1 first prize, 2 second prizes, 3 third prizes and 6 winning prizes.

Honors

1. The first, second, third place and winning prizes in each competition will be awarded certificates in the name of the competition organizing committee.

2. The enterprise employee contestant who ranks first in the employee group of each competition will be approved by the Provincial Federation of Trade Unions as "Zhejiang Golden Blue Collar". If there is any person who does not meet the conditions, there will be no replacement.

3. Qualified winners in the competitions of interior decoration designers, advertising designers, and small household appliance manufacturers will be issued corresponding vocational skill level certificates by the competition organizing committee. The first-prize winner of the employee group will be recognized as a senior technician; the second- and third-prize winners will be recognized as technicians; the winning prize winner will be recognized as a senior worker; those who already have certificates of the same level or above in the same occupation will not be recognized again. The first prize winner in the student group is recognized as a technician; the second and third prize winners are recognized as senior workers; the winner of the excellence award is recognized as an intermediate worker; those who already have certificates of the same level and above in the same occupation will not be recognized again.

4. According to the relevant provisions of the "Zhejiang Provincial Vocational Skills Competition Management Measures", if the number of contestants does not reach the specified number, their results will only be used as the basis for selection to participate in the national competition, and the human resources and social security department will not give relevant competition rewards.

5. Based on the overall ranking of players in each event, no more than 3 players will be recommended to participate in the national competition.

7. Related expenses

This competition does not charge any fees. In principle, the transportation fees, accommodation fees, personal accident insurance and other expenses are borne by each contestant. If it is difficult to pay for themselves, the competition organizer will solve it as appropriate. Among them, the accommodation expenses for advertising designers and small household appliance manufacturers will be arranged by the host.

8. Relevant requirements

All localities should attach great importance to it, strengthen organizational leadership, widely mobilize relevant industry personnel to participate in competition activities, increase social attention to the competition, and vigorously create a good atmosphere in which competition promotes training. All cities must carefully select contestants to ensure quality.
