Recently, the first batch of modules of Guangxi Guangxi Company’s new LED supplementary light technology Baoliang Photovoltaic Project in Luancheng, Hengzhou, were successfully connected to the grid to generate electricity.
This project is located in Xinxing Village and Gemu Village, Luancheng Town, Hengzhou City, Nanning City, Guangxi. It has a total installed capacity of 30.16 MW and covers an area of about 500 acres. It is the first domestic integrated development project of photovoltaic power generation and staple food (rice) production jointly promoted by the Guangxi Company of the National Energy Group and Nanjing Agricultural University.
The project will transform dry land to meet rice planting conditions and carry out experimental planting. On November 15, 2022, the first season of rice planting ushered in a bumper harvest. Through the method of "photovoltaic power generation + LED light supplementary light rice planting", we created a new model of sustainable land use.
The average annual power generation of this project is approximately 31.1059 million kilowatt hours, which can save 10,000 tons of standard coal every year, and has good social, environmental and economic benefits. This grid-connected power generation provides a good reference for the new agricultural and photovoltaic complementary model, and injects impetus into the transformation of enterprises to green and low-carbon energy supply.
