According to news from Nanchang High-tech Zone, the second phase of the Zhaochi Crystal Display MiniCOB display module production project in Nanchang High-tech Zone has been fully launched. The project rents a modern factory building of 240,000 square meters in Area B of Future City, and plans to expand the existing 3,000 RGB small-pitch LED display module (COB) packaging production lines in batches, eventually achieving a production capacity of 8,100 production lines.
According to the current progress, the project is expected to be fully completed and put into use in late July this year. By then, Zhaochi Crystal Display's monthly production capacity will jump to tens of thousands of square meters, further consolidating its leading position in global COB production capacity.
According to experts, the "2026 COB/MIP Display Survey (Report)" shows that in 2025, the output value of LED displays using COB solutions will be approximately 7.7 billion yuan, accounting for 16% of the total output value of LED displays. This proportion is expected to increase to 36% in 2030, and the output value of LED displays using COB solutions will reach approximately 23 billion yuan, with an annual compound growth rate significantly higher than the industry average.
The other side of the rapid market growth is the dramatic evolution of the competitive landscape.
