Lifan Semiconductor's automotive-scale optoelectronic module and silicon-based Micro LED chip manufacturing project has started, with a total investment of 5.2 billion yuan.

▋ The first phase project of Huike’s new display base already has large-scale production capabilities

According to a report by Henan Daily on January 4, the first phase project of Huike’s new display base located in the southeast of Zhengzhou Airport District has now achieved large-scale production capabilities and entered a stable production stage. In January, it has received orders for 380,000 complete display terminals, and more than 10,000 units of products are delivered every day.

The first phase of Huike's new display base project has an investment of approximately 3 billion yuan, covering an area of approximately 300 acres, and is used to build ultra-high-definition new display modules and complete machine production lines. In addition, the project adopts an integrated module line and a two-line test design, which is compatible with the production of multi-sized products and maximizes production capacity. In the field of automation, the project has 13 high-efficiency lines on the first floor, and nearly 60% of the processes can realize intelligent operation.

According to reports, the project will begin construction on September 18, 2024. In 2025, Huike's new display base will produce more than 1.6 million display terminals in a few months, with a completed output value of approximately 1.69 billion yuan; earlier development plans show that the project will be built into the largest single production building in the TV industry.

The relevant person in charge of Huike said that more than 30% of the products of the base are exported overseas, covering the global market except North America. The export scale and market share are rising steadily. This year, we will make efforts to expand production capacity and strengthen research and development at the same time.

▋ Li Pian Semiconductor's automotive-grade optoelectronic module and silicon-based Micro LED chip manufacturing project started

On December 31, Jiulongpo District's 2025 investment promotion project in the field of advanced manufacturing and technological innovation was held. The 28 projects started this time are expected to achieve an annual output value of 6.84 billion yuan after reaching full production, including Lishen Semiconductor's automotive-grade optoelectronic modules and silicon-based Micro LED chip manufacturing projects.

The project has a total investment of 5.2 billion yuan and covers an area of about 100 acres. It will build a production base with an annual output of 1.56 million sets of automotive disinfection modules and 100,000 display chips per month. According to reports, this is the first silicon-based gallium nitride based display chip production base in Jiulongpo District and the second in Chongqing City. It will effectively fill the gap in the area of high-end display chips in the region.
