With a total investment of 5 billion, a Mini LED project is expected to be completed in Q2

According to "Jingjiang Release" on March 22, the first and second phases of the Yongsheng Optoelectronics Mini LED display backlight, screen body and lightweight aluminum-magnesium alloy die-casting industrialization project with a total investment of 5 billion yuan are planned to be completed in April and May 2026 respectively.

According to reports, Yongsheng Optoelectronics’ Mini LED display backlight, screen body and lightweight aluminum-magnesium alloy die-casting industrialization project will be constructed in two phases. The project will start in March 2024.

At present, the first phase of the project has entered the final stage. The first workshop and waiting building are scheduled to be completed by the end of April this year. Real stone paint work on the exterior walls is currently in progress. Machines are roaring and workers are busy at the construction site of the second-phase steel structure workshop, which is expected to be completed by the end of May.

According to Display experts, Yongsheng Optoelectronics was founded in 2005 and is a backlight manufacturer. Its core product is LED backlight. It has series of backlights for vehicles, backlights for consumer goods, and backlights for medical and industrial control.

Another news released by Jingjiang in December 2025 shows that Yongsheng Optoelectronics has established strategic partnerships with international giants such as Sharp, Tianma, and Bosch, and has successfully entered the supply chains of well-known automobiles such as Mercedes-Benz, BMW, Toyota, and BYD. In addition, the person in charge of the Yongsheng Optoelectronics project said that after the industrialization project of Yongsheng Optoelectronics' Mini LED display backlight, screen body and lightweight aluminum-magnesium alloy die-casting parts is put into production, the company will also rely on the country's first magnesium alloy precision die-casting demonstration production line to tackle the industrial application of lightweight materials in new energy vehicles, humanoid robots and other new tracks.
