Up to 30%, 6 LED display companies announced price adjustments

With the spread of price increases, in an environment where terminal demand has not strengthened simultaneously, as of now, more than 90 industry chain companies have issued price adjustment letters (the latest price increase summary is attached at the end of the article), covering core links such as chips, packaging, modules, driver ICs and displays, and the scope of price adjustments continues to expand.

Recently, companies such as BOE Jingxin, Unilumin Technology, Shendecai, Kaistar, Moiren Technology, and Tianwei Electronics have successively issued price adjustment notices, with overall increases ranging from 7% to 30%.

The following are the recent price adjustment trends of some manufacturers:

■ BOE Crystal Core

On May 20, BOE Crystal Core issued a "Notice of Price Adjustment" and stated that product costs continued to rise due to tight supply of raw materials and continued fluctuations in manufacturing prices. Although the company has absorbed most of the rising cost pressure through operational optimization, in the face of severe market conditions and long-term challenges, in order to ensure that channel partners receive sustainable high-quality products and service experience, it has decided to adjust prices for products related to the COB process. The specific adjustment time and extent will be notified separately.

■ Unilumin Technology

On May 18, Unilumin Technology issued a "Notice on Product Adjustments" and stated that because PCB prices have increased by more than 30% and IC (Integrated Circuits) have increased by more than 50%, it is still difficult to absorb costs after internal tapping, and a new price system will be implemented from May 18, 2026, with an overall increase of more than 5%-15%. The transition period is clearly arranged, and orders confirmed and placed before May 18 will be executed at the original price.

■ Shen De Cai

On May 8, Shen De Cai issued a "Contact Letter" stating that due to the dual pressures of upstream raw materials and supply chain costs, that is, starting from May 8, 2026, the price of all products will increase by 8%-15%. The specific price will be subject to the official quotation of the sales staff.

■ Moire Technology

On May 19, Moire Technology issued a product price increase notification letter stating that the costs of raw materials and supporting materials such as PCB, IC, lamp beads, etc. continue to rise. Starting from May 19, 2026, the prices of all LED displays, soft modules, special-shaped screens, etc. will increase by 7%-12%. Orders that have been placed and locked orders will be settled at the original price.

■ Kaistar

On May 18, Kaistar issued a "Price Adjustment Announcement" stating that supply chain costs have increased significantly. From June 1, 2026, prices for some LED receiving cards, video controllers, and Pandora series products will increase. Specific model increases:

Receiving cards (G608, R12, G616): unit price increased by 6 yuan; G628: increased by 5 yuan;

Video controllers (KSV2c, KSV4c, KSV6c, KSV8c, KSV16c, KSV24c): RMB 30-700 more;

Pandora series (KP2KC, KP4KC): RMB 75-200 more.

■ Tianwei Electronics

Tianwei Electronics issued the "Notice of Product Price Adjustment" stating that the global semiconductor industry chain has fluctuated violently, and the costs of wafers, packaging and testing and other links have continued to increase. Starting from May 20, 2026, the prices of all series of products will be increased by 10%-30%. Transition period: Orders paid in full before May 19th will be subject to the new price after they are fulfilled; orders placed before 18:00 on May 19th without payment will be subject to the new price, and new orders received from May 20th will be subject to the new price.
