Three parties join forces to deploy Micro LED projects worth RMB 3 billion

On January 12, according to Xingyu Co., Ltd.’s official WeChat account, Xingyu Co., Ltd., Xinlian Integration and Hubei Jiufengshan Laboratory recently signed a strategic cooperation agreement in Wuhan.

According to the agreement, the three parties will jointly invest in the establishment of Wuhan Xingxiguang Technology Co., Ltd. After establishment, Xingxiguang plans to invest 3 billion yuan in the construction of Micro-LED intelligent light technology research and development and manufacturing projects.

According to the official Weibo of Xingyu Co., Ltd., the three parties will integrate their respective advantages in vehicle lighting, chip manufacturing and compound semiconductor research and development, and jointly promote the research and development and industrialization of cutting-edge technologies such as Micro-LED vehicle lighting, optical communications, and AI display.

In the future, we will focus on carrying out pragmatic strategic cooperation in the following aspects: collaborative technology research and development and topic research, joint application for key projects, talent training and exchanges, project incubation cooperation, and in-depth supply chain collaboration, aiming to achieve the deep integration of "vehicle application scenarios + cutting-edge technology research and development + chip manufacturing capabilities" and jointly build a complete ecological chain from technological innovation to industrial implementation.

Regarding Wuhan Xingxiguang Technology Co., Ltd., Qichacha’s official website shows that the company was established on January 10, 2026, with a registered capital of 200 million yuan. It is reported that Xingxiguang will focus deeply on the industrialization of Micro-LED technology in the future, using advanced automotive lighting business as a solid foundation to further expand into cutting-edge fields such as micro-display and optical interconnection. It will break down barriers through technological collaboration, accelerate the construction of a complete ecological closed loop from chip research and development to system application, and seize the market high ground of new generation optoelectronic technology.

In addition, Xingyu Technology Chairman Zhou Xiaoping said that through this strategic cooperation with Jiufengshan Laboratory and Xinlian Integration, through the complementary advantages of the three parties, Xingyu Technology will accelerate the domestic application of Micro-LED cutting-edge technology in automotive lighting and other fields, bring smarter and safer products to consumers, and help China's automobile and related industries continue to upgrade to high-end and intelligence.

According to expert research, Xingyu Co., Ltd. is one of China's major automotive lighting suppliers. Its products mainly include automotive front lighting, rear lighting, and interior and exterior lighting, such as smart headlights based on Micro LED, interactive display lights based on Mini LED and OLED, smart digital grilles, lighting controllers, and closed-loop lighting systems with sensing functions.

In terms of customer cooperation, in April 2025, Xingyu Technology, Ouye Semiconductor, and Jingneng Optoelectronics also announced that they would jointly develop iVISION smart headlights. It is reported that the headlight product integrates a dedicated SoC chip for car lights and a Micro LED light source chip. In terms of project cooperation, in August 2025, its Xingyu Co., Ltd. Intelligent Automotive Electronics and Vision System Industry Center and Benniu Base project with a total investment of 5 billion yuan started construction. After completion and production, the overall supporting production capacity of smart car light assemblies can exceed 10 million units.
