It is oriented to the entire chain of lighting design positions and clarifies the four-level competency requirements of fourth-level/intermediate workers, third-level/senior workers, second-level/technicians, and first-level/senior technicians. It comprehensively covers the occupational profile, basic requirements, work requirements and weighting system, and provides authoritative basis for practitioner training, skills evaluation, and career development.

This standard has been officially implemented on February 28, 2026, marking that my country's lighting design industry has entered a new development stage of standardization, standardization, and specialization.
