The Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) recently released the latest life expectancy data for 34 member countries and several other developed countries. Among the 10 countries with the longest life expectancy in the world, from the first to the tenth place, the longest life expectancy does not exceed 90 years.
No wonder some people complain that even the lamp lasts so long.
HiveSSL is expected to launch this longest-lasting LED PAR lamp in the fourth quarter of 2014. This adjustable-brightness bulb is only 6 watts, but has a light output of 790 lumens. Its extra long life is due to the use of replaceable power supply technology, which allows consumers to simply replace the power module and continue to use the bulb.
In terms of warranty, HiveSSL will provide a 50-year warranty for the LEDs on the lamps and a 10-year warranty for the power supply.
HiveSSL is currently inviting public investment on Kickstarter.com and Indiegogo.com to join the business model of this lamp.
