The keynote speech was exciting and unlocked the diverse cross-border value of lighting

Professor Dai Qi from the Electric Light Source Research Institute of Fudan University shared the theme of "Color Vision Accessibility Technology: Lighting and Display for the Elderly and People with Color Vision Deficiency". He pointed out that there are about 350 million people with color vision deficiency in the world, and the yellowing of the lens caused by aging has further expanded the scale of groups with special visual needs. However, most of the existing technical systems are based on the "standard observer" model, causing visual impairment. By constructing an elderly observer model, Professor Dai Qi's team proposed evaluation indicators such as color discriminability and authenticity for the elderly, developed a variety of elderly-friendly lighting spectrum solutions, and completed evidence-based experiments relying on elderly care communities to verify that the new spectrum can effectively improve the color recognition ability of the elderly. At the same time, the team developed a color vision deficiency model and enhancement technology that are more in line with physiological facts, greatly improving the color discrimination ability of people with color vision deficiency. This research allows lighting to break through basic functions and give the industry a strong humanistic care.

Guo Weihong, a doctor and senior engineer from the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences, shared "Research and Application of Comprehensive Technology System for Sky Light Environment Simulation". The sky light environment simulation system self-developed by Dr. Guo Weihong's team has been evaluated by experts as being at the leading international level in comprehensive performance. The equipment has an inner diameter of 15m and can simulate 15 CIE standard complex dynamic scenes such as sky, clouds, lightning, and sea surface reflections. The team overcame a number of technical problems and independently developed three simulation algorithms for sky brightness, color temperature, and sun position, compressing the calculation time of traditional algorithms from several hours to 10 seconds. It also pioneered the luminescence calibration method for large optical systems and a comprehensive detection system that combines light environment with human factors analysis. This technology has won a number of invention patents and industry awards, and is widely used in fields such as complete machine light environment verification and light environment human factors assessment, filling many domestic technical gaps.

Hou Dandan, a postdoctoral fellow at Fudan University’s Human Phenotype Research Institute, shared the topic “Research and Application on Individual Differences in Biological Responses of Human Eyes Based on China’s Typical Light Climate Zones”. She pointed out that the standardized lighting system ignores individual differences in the human body's photobiological response, which restricts the development of the photohealth and photomedicine industries. The DCLACPS model proposed by his team has been included in the national standard and can accurately determine the impact of light on the human body's circadian rhythm. Studies have proven that multiple factors such as age, eye condition, genetics, and daytime light exposure can cause the light sensitivity of people to vary nearly 60 times. The team also conducted cohort studies in different light climate zones such as Lhasa, Shanghai, and Chongqing. Preliminary results show that the contribution of ambient light exposure history to rhythmic phenotypes is greater than innate inheritance. At present, relevant results have been clinically verified in scenarios such as mental medicine, rehabilitation treatment, and light healing laboratories. In the future, localized and customized light consumption standards will be created based on regional and age characteristics to promote the accurate implementation of light health technology.

The founder of Desui Lighting Technology Co., Ltd. focused on "Artificial Intelligence-driven Lighting Energy Saving: Technical Synergy of Super Energy Saving and Good Experience". For a long time, there has been a natural conflict between lighting energy saving and user experience, but its team has created a smart garage lighting solution that integrates five core technologies: "three-dimensional light effect engine", "global intelligent control" and "optical flow evolution". Through Mesh self-organizing network and machine learning, the system can predict the trajectories of people and vehicles, and realize non-sensory on-demand lighting that "lights are on when people come and lights are dark when people leave". This solution has been implemented in benchmark projects such as Beijing Capital Airport Parking Building No. 2 and Beijing Wukesong Commercial Complex, with a maximum energy saving rate of 89%. It ensures a high-quality lighting experience while deeply reducing carbon emissions, and provides a mature model for the transformation of existing lighting across the country.

Hong Yannan, Chairman and President of Guangming Yuanguang Technology Co., Ltd., gave a wonderful sharing of "Beyond the horizon, useless - the unique value of invisible light". He jumped out of the traditional visible light lighting category and deeply interpreted the industrial value of invisible light such as infrared and ultraviolet. Citing a large number of clinical research results, he pointed out that near-infrared light can penetrate deeper into tissues and be absorbed by cell mitochondria. It can play anti-inflammatory, repair, improve metabolism and cognitive functions at multiple levels, including promoting ATP production and increasing endogenous melatonin. Based on this, the near-infrared health lamps launched by Guangmingyuan make up for the lack of near-infrared light in the conventional LED spectrum. On the ultraviolet side, the company's 222nm excimer lamps and 172nm excimer lamps play irreplaceable roles in precision manufacturing such as safety sterilization, semiconductor light

cleaning, biomedicine, and ultrapure water preparation, demonstrating the broad application prospects of invisible light.

Chi Guangwei, senior chief engineer of ams-OSRAM, gave a keynote speech on "ams-OSRAM: Building a Global Security Line of Defense for Road Lighting". Relying on the company's technical advantages in the fields of light sensors, LED packaging, and car lights, the team integrated EVIYOS® Shape pixelated Micro-LED, dToF time-of-flight sensing, infrared sensing and other core products to create an integrated smart road lighting solution. The system combines functions such as high brightness, pixelation control, environment perception, and information projection. It can adaptively adjust lights according to pedestrians, vehicles, weather, and road conditions, promoting the upgrade of traditional static road lighting into intelligent nodes that actively participate in traffic safety, and building a "global security defense line" covering perception, decision-making, and execution.

Hou Dingwen, founder of Jianzhong Zhiye & DRD Design Research Institute, shared the theme of "AI + Traffic Password". She analyzed that the current lighting industry is facing difficulties such as declining growth, product involution, and soaring traffic costs. She proposed that AI is the key to breaking the industry, and pointed out that most companies have shortcomings in AI traffic exposure. In this regard, she suggested that enterprises optimize online content and site architecture, adapt to the AI search ecosystem, and use GEO to first transform the enterprise's digital portal into a base that can be referenced, compared, and inquired by AI. At the same time, AI tools are used to empower content creation, sales conversion and organizational management, and systems such as AI Agent are used to accumulate sales experience and improve human efficiency. She emphasized that the core value of AI is to amplify organizational capabilities. Lighting companies need to embrace digital transformation, reconstruct the relationship between people and goods, and tap new growth space in the stock market.
