According to a report by Blue Whale News on June 10, Lenovo has finalized an important decision at a work meeting in May this year: after the end of this year’s 618 promotion, starting from July, all categories of its products will increase prices uniformly, and the price increase will be basically the same as the previous round.
The person familiar with the matter also revealed: "In view of the price increase across the board, Lenovo has advised dealers to finalize plans as soon as possible and prepare stocks in advance to lock in prices if they have equipment purchase plans. A formal price increase letter will be sent to dealers at the end of this month."
The report also stated that this is not Lenovo's first price increase this year. In early March this year, Lenovo issued product price adjustment letters to channel dealers and partners across the country. The terminal retail prices of some computer models increased by up to more than 1,000 yuan. Price adjustments are mainly reflected in the offline retail system, while online price increases are disguised through the withdrawal of preferential activities and other forms.
In fact, Lenovo is not alone in raising prices. Industry insiders told the media: "At this stage, some Dell models have already raised prices: servers have increased prices across the board by 20% to 40%, and desktops, notebooks, and workstations will also increase significantly by July at the latest. The industry's price increase trend has already emerged."
According to Lenovo’s official website, the company’s consumer products currently include notebooks, desktops, monitors, tablets, mobile phones, smart life products, accessories/office products, whole-house smart products and other categories.
TrendForce reported in May this year that according to the latest NAND flash industry survey, major NAND original manufacturers have almost no new production capacity this year. As AI demand continues to be strong, the supply shortage of NAND is expected to last throughout 2026.
Regarding the NAND market in 2026Q2, the agency believes that servers will take up the production capacity vacated by weak demand in the smartphone and PC markets. The shipment scale of original manufacturers will be stable and improving, and ASP will also receive continued support.
TrendForce has also stated that in the DDR4 and earlier generation Consumer DRAM consumer memory market, where the three major original manufacturers are gradually fading out, the average price will rise by 75~80% in the first quarter of this year, and will continue to rise by 45~50% in the second quarter.
