Apple's first OLED screen phone discontinued

On August 14, Apple has included iPhone X in the list of Obsolete Products, which is what Apple officially defines as a "discontinued product."

According to Apple regulations, a product will be deemed a discontinued product after it has been discontinued for more than 7 years.

After entering the list, Apple will stop providing all hardware repair services for the device, and Apple authorized service providers will no longer be able to order repair parts for the device.

iPhone

In September 2017, on the tenth anniversary of the launch of the original iPhone, Apple officially released iPhone X. Among them, "X" is the Roman numeral "10", which also represents Apple's tribute to the tenth anniversary of the iPhone.

In terms of appearance design, iPhone X completely bids farewell to the physical Home button that has been used for many years. It is equipped with an OLED screen for the first time and adopts a notch screen design on the iPhone.

With the cancellation of the Home button, Apple also enabled full-screen gesture operations on the iPhone X and replaced Touch ID with Face ID, opening up a new interaction method for the iPhone.

Over the years since then, full-screen gestures and Face ID have gradually become one of the core designs of the iPhone, laying the foundation for subsequent generations of full-screen iPhones.
