AR glasses solution unveiled at international exhibitions, Leiyu single-chip full-color Micro-LED enters a new stage of commercialization

At the beginning of the new year of 2026, Leiyu’s commercialization process in the field of Micro-LED micro-displays has ushered in a key breakthrough - the AR glasses solution equipped with Leiyu’s PowerMatch® 1 single-chip full-color Micro-LED micro-display has been unveiled at the two top international exhibitions, CES and SPIE Photonic West. This intensive international appearance clearly shows that single-chip full-color Micro-LED technology has entered the critical stage of commercial verification, and its maturity and competitiveness have been recognized by industry leaders.

From CES to SPIE Photonic West: double endorsement, confirming the hard power of commercialization

At the CES exhibition at the beginning of the year, Mojie released the "38g world's lightest full-color full-function AI+AR glasses". With its breakthrough product form and core performance, it successfully won the CES Global Innovation Award. The core display unit of this benchmark product uses Radium's PowerMatch® 1 single-chip full-color Micro-LED microdisplay, realizing the first single-chip full-color Micro-LED + fully bonded resin optical waveguide glasses optical solution. Its market performance fully proves that single-chip full-color technology can support end products to form differentiated competitive advantages and has strong commercialization capabilities.

As the world's first AI+AR glasses to achieve a high level of "full-featured configuration and lightweight form", its 38g ultra-light body design breaks the inherent perception that "weight reduction must reduce accessories". In terms of optical performance, the glasses are equipped with a 1.74 high refractive index fully-fitted resin optical waveguide, which is deeply adapted to the Leiyu single-chip full-color Micro-LED micro-display, which not only achieves a delicate full-color display effect, but also effectively suppresses the rainbow pattern problem and greatly improves the wearing experience.

At the same time, this AR glasses integrates a high-definition camera and a multi-modal AI perception module into a compact body, supporting full-featured applications such as real-time translation, visual recognition, and all-weather AI assistant. This further proves that relying on the advantages of miniaturization and low power consumption of a single full-color Micro-LED, the terminal product can achieve full-featured breakthroughs in the ultimate form. This is the core manifestation of its commercial competitiveness, and it also indicates that this technology will become the core support for consumer-grade AR iterations.

Following CES, at the SPIE Photonic West exhibition, the global optical giant Zeiss demonstrated a new AR optical solution that also used Radium's single-chip full-color Micro-LED microdisplay as the core component. Zeiss’s newly launched Planar Diffractive Waveguide with Push-Pull Vision Correction solution uses a customized Push-Pull structure and seamless packaging of diffraction light waveguides to form an integrated, highly customized prescription solution that varies from person to person, perfectly adapting to the wearing needs of different users.

At the same time, this solution integrates Zeiss' advanced photochromic technology, which maintains high transparency indoors with almost no background color residue, and responds quickly to ultraviolet rays outdoors. It has multiple functions such as display enhancement, vision correction, and environmental adaptation. More importantly, this solution effectively reduces the dependence on peak brightness while improving display contrast, thereby reducing the power consumption of the entire machine and extending battery life. To realize this series of system-level advantages, Leiyu’s single-chip full-color Micro-LED is the key support.

In a short period of time, two industry leaders, Mojie and Zeiss, have successively selected this technology and completed system-level demonstrations. This is a double endorsement of the commercial competitiveness of single-chip full-color Micro-LED by the industry. It also means that this technology has passed engineering implementation and experience verification, and has the foundation for large-scale commercial application.

Technical analysis: The advantages are highlighted, and single-chip full color has become the main iteration direction in the future.

Currently, AR glasses are accelerating their iteration to "daily wear", and the display module, as the core bottleneck, directly determines the development speed of the industry. With its irreplaceable and outstanding advantages, single-chip full-color Micro-LED is accelerating to establish its position as the main technology of the next generation of micro-display.

Leiyu PowerMatch® 1 full-color light engine

Compared with the mainstream multi-chip light combining solutions in the industry, Leiyu’s independently developed QDPR single-chip full-color Micro-LED solution has extremely significant advantages at the system level:

First, the integration of RGB three-color pixels on a single chip simplifies the optical structure and system design from the source, provides core support for terminal weight reduction and miniaturization, and perfectly adapts to the daily wearing needs of AR glasses.

Second, relying on blue Micro-LED quantum dot color conversion technology, it breaks through the bottleneck of native red light efficiency, greatly improves display energy efficiency, reduces power consumption, and solves terminal battery life pain points.

Thirdly, based on the large-size wafer-level semiconductor process, large-scale mass production can be achieved, costs can be effectively controlled, and the dilemma of "difficulty in popularizing high-end technology" can be broken, laying the foundation for the explosion of commercialization.

These three advantages are superimposed on each other, making the single-chip full-color solution take the lead in terms of technology maturity, terminal adaptability and cost structure, making it an inevitable choice for industry iterations.

Ecological collaboration: Accelerate scale and jointly build a new ecosystem for the AR industry

Since its establishment, Leiyu has always been guided by commercialization and has deeply cultivated the core technology of single-chip full-color Micro-LED. At the same time, it has closely collaborated with the upstream and downstream of the industry chain to build an open and win-win industrial ecosystem.

Mojie's breakthrough in the consumer AR field and Zeiss' verification in the professional optics field not only further strengthen the commercial competitiveness of this technology, but also accelerate its adaptation and extension to more scenarios.

Looking forward to 2026, Leiyu will continue to deepen the iteration of Micro-LED core technology, improve the PowerMatch® series product matrix, and accelerate the large-scale application of single-chip full-color technology in AI+AR, smart wearable and other terminals. At the same time, we will further deepen collaborative innovation with industry leaders, promote more commercialized and daily wearable AR products to the market, truly transform technological advantages into market advantages, and help the global AR industry move towards a new stage of high-quality development.
