3000㎡ virtual studio has been launched! Alto sets a new benchmark for the industrialization of virtual production in western China

Recently, a 3,000-square-meter virtual shooting studio located in Yongchuan, Chongqing was officially opened. The studio was built with full participation by Alto Electronics. It is currently one of the largest virtual shooting spaces with the most complete technical system in western China.

Build a solid "hardware base" for virtual production

The studio uses RM1.9 series display screens as the background screen. The core display area consists of a main LED screen with an arc length of 60 meters and a height of 10 meters, paired with four movable extension screens of 7 meters x 4.5 meters. The studio is fully aligned with Hollywood's mature virtual production film industry system in terms of spatial scale, architectural design and shooting adaptability, providing solid hardware support for industrial shooting.

The studio has four industrial-grade core shooting capabilities, suitable for professional film and television creation: its high brush rate and low latency can ensure stable high-speed motion pictures without smear; high contrast and high color accuracy can avoid problems such as reflection and color cast; the studio also supports multi-scene rapid switching and parameter adjustment, and matches the mainstream real-time rendering system. Relying on this mature virtual shooting technology, the cost of shooting complex scenes such as science fiction and fantasy is reduced by about 90% compared with traditional methods, and the overall shooting efficiency is increased by more than 55%.

In addition to the core display system, the studio also integrates and applies real-time digital human technology, AI image segmentation technology, ST2110 technology and many other key technologies to promote the upgrade of virtual shooting from experimental applications to standardized and reusable production tools.

The establishment of this studio has not only directly improved the professional level of local film and television production in Chongqing, but also promoted the western China's film and television industry to achieve a key leap from "location-based shooting" to "industrialized production".
