2 major LED display projects were launched and started construction

Recently, Nanjing Lopu and Xinshitong LED-related projects have successively announced new progress. Nanjing Lopu COB Intelligent Manufacturing Center was officially opened; Xinshitong Qijiang new factory area started construction.

■ Nanjing Luopu: COB Intelligent Manufacturing Center opened

On March 16, Nanjing Luopu officially announced that its COB Intelligent Manufacturing Center was officially opened.

According to reports, the project only took 4 months from the dismantling of the old production line to the lighting of the product. The specific construction process is: the old production line will be dismantled on October 4, 2025, the equipment will enter the site on January 28, 2026, the first board will be successfully manufactured on February 3, and the first box will be lit on February 9.

It is understood that Nanjing Lopu focuses on three major sectors: smart display, smart integration, and microwave technology application. Its current main products include traditional LED displays, small-pitch LED displays, LED movie screens, LED dome screens, LED transparent screens, etc.

In 2026, Nanjing Lopu LED display project will achieve obvious results. The 700+㎡ LED dome screen is used in the Shanghai Science and Technology Museum dome theater; the 330㎡ dome theater + 1523㎡ special-shaped perforated LED dome is installed in Shenzhen Longgang International Art Center; the 1200+㎡ double-column display helps the construction of the Quzhou West Station of the Hangzhou-Quzhou High-speed Railway; the Lopu LEDMAX movie screen lights up Shanxi, Zhejiang, Hebei, Guizhou and other places...

■ Xinshitong: Qijiang New Factory Construction Started

On March 16, Xinshitong announced through its official video account that Xinshitong Qijiang New Factory officially started construction, marking a solid step forward for the company’s production capacity expansion. Official information shows that the new factory will introduce intelligent production lines and strive to build an important intelligent display production base in Southwest China.

It is understood that New Vision is a high-tech enterprise that focuses on providing professional ODM solutions in the field of LED display. It mainly develops and produces small-pitch LED displays.

In 2023, Xinshitong’s LED display core production base project with a total investment of 1 billion yuan will hold a centralized opening ceremony. Information shows that the base project will be constructed in three phases. Among them, a total investment of 480 million yuan was invested in the first and second phases, mainly to build P0.6-P2.5 Mini LED screen production lines. The first phase will be put into production in 2022, and the second phase will achieve mass production of the first production line in 2023. The production line mainly uses COB packaging; the third phase investment is 520 million yuan, mainly to build advanced packaging production lines for independent research and development chips and Micro LED screen production.

In 2026, Xinshitong will also continue to increase the development of small-pitch LED displays.

Among them, in terms of cooperation, in January 2026, New Vision and Philips Commercial Display officially signed an ecological strategic cooperation agreement. The two parties will focus on high-end commercial scenarios, carry out customized development of Micro LED and COB products, and extend to full-link integration of professional audio-visual systems. In terms of products, at the ISLE 2026 exhibition, Xinshitong also debuted an outdoor small-pitch screen. This product has the characteristics of high black ratio, low power consumption, and high brightness.
